Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Junior is an American football player and holds the position of quarterback for the New England Patriots. He was born in San Mateo California on August 3, 1977, and was a fan of football while growing up, he states that quarterback Joe Montana was his idol. He was considered a good prospect after graduating from college, and was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft as the 199th overall pick. He has played for the same team since 2000 and over the years was able to win five Super Bowls and was able to play in seven, making it the most for any player in the history of the sport. His accolades include two league MVP awards, the first one in 2007 and the last one in 2010, he has also been awarded four Super Bowl MVP awards, holding the record for most awards for a single player.
