Die-hard fans of rock music would surely know Foreigner and their incredible contributions to the music industry. The band started in 1976 in New York City when seasoned English musician Mick Jones, together with fellow Brit Ian Mcdonald and American vocalist Lou Gramm decided to create their own sound. They chose the name Foreigner because the band was composed of British and American members, and they rose to prominent fame with their biggest hit; I Want to Know What Love Is. The single topped the US and UK charts, as well as other recognized charts around the world. They are known as one of the Best-selling bands of all time, selling more than 80 million records worldwide. Right now, Mick Jones is the only original member remaining in the band, but no one could deny the legacy that they have left in the industry. Let’s walk down memory lane through the photos of their past, and see how they became legends in their own right.
