A highly influential and controversial musician, Elvis Presley is known as the King of Rock and Roll. Because of his attractive physical appearance and sex appeal, he was considered a sex symbol during his time. Decades after his early death, he remains highly influential and is regarded as an icon in the entertainment industry.
Elvis found his first inspiration in music while attending church with his family. He also grew up listening to black R&B, country, and pop music. Elvis worked as an electrician and truck driver while trying his luck in the music industry.
Shortly after becoming an international music sensation, Elvis also ventured in films. He performed in countless live performances, sold one billion records, starred in more than 30 successful films, and appeared in various TV shows.
